The Sarawak Housing and Estate Developers Association (SHEDA) met with Sarawak Premier, YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, to discuss critical issues facing the state's housing sector.
During the meeting, SHEDA, led by President Augustine CH Wong, raised concerns about Liquidated Ascertained Damages (LAD) and sought the Premier's guidance on enhancing the industry's growth. The Premier acknowledged the industry's challenges and pledged the government's full support.
SHEDA also presented plans for a proposed knowledge hub by the SHEDA Research Institute and discussed SHEDA's role in advancing Sarawak's housing development.
