SHEDA Call on Chief Minister of Sarawak

31/03/2010 (KUCHING) SHEDA Council Members and Advisors paid a courtesy call to Chief Minister of Sarawak YAB Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday at Wisma Pelita in Petra Jaya, Kuching.

The delegation, led by Minister of Housing and Urban Development YB Datuk Amar Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Abang Haji Openg and SHEDA President Tuan Haji Zaidi Ahmad, made the call to establish good understanding with the Chief Minister for further enhancement, strengthening and realization of the aims and objectives of the state's visions in the development of the housing industry in Sarawak especially in SCORE area, as well as to present to Chief Minister the trophy for Special Award, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Sarawak Housing and Property Industry.

During the meeting with SHEDA delegation, the Chief Minister mentioned that the government is planning to create two new divisions, with one likely to be created in Kuching's coastal area which is between Lundu and Telaga Air.
