SHEDA 6th Council Meeting 2009

23/10/2009 (KUCHING) The 6th SHEDA Council Meeting of 2009 was recently held at SHEDA Secretariat at Jalan Tabuan Stutong Kuching on 22nd October 2009. 

The main agenda discussed during the meeting includes report by Chairmen of Liaison Divisions and the sub-committees of SHEDA Management, Utilities, Infrastructures, Planning and Resource Management, Tourism and Urban Development, Housing, Research and Development, Editorial and Publication, Activities and Legal. 

Chairing the meeting was Deputy President Mr. Joseph Wong on behalf of President Tuan Haji Zaidi Ahmad. In the President’s address read by Mr. Wong, he highlighted that during the meeting with Datuk Morshidi Abdul Ghani on 4th September 2009, the new State Secretary complimented SHEDA for its role in promoting government’s policies and for taking efforts to ensure that the housing and real estate sector remain active and comply with the industry standards despite the many obstacles especially during this trying period.
