ARTICLE
12 - Resignation
- Any member who wishes to resign from the Association shall give two (2) weeks notice in writing to the Secretary-General. Such notice shall, unless otherwise expressed, be deemed to take effect as from the first day of the month next following the receipt thereof. All outstanding dues shall first be settled by the member.
- A member shall upon ceasing to be a member of the Association whether on account of resignation or expulsion, forfeit all rights to and claim upon the Association and its property and funds, but the member or assign shall continue to be liable for any liabilities and obligations to the Association undertaken or incurred while he was a member whether liquidated or continuing or whether in respect of himself or some other person.
- A member who ceased to be a member by reason of expulsion or resignation shall not be readmitted as a member PROVIDED THAT the Council may at its absolute discretion re-admit such a member upon such terms and conditions as it deems fit to impose.
